Where should I start learning AI agents?
Start from what you can already do. If you have never written code, begin with Python at the first station. If you already write Python comfortably, go straight to The Agent Awakens, where the course moves on to LLMs, prompts, tools and the agent loop.
- Never written code: board at Awakening the Machine, Python from the first line.
- Basic Python (loops, lists, simple functions): board at Leveling Up Your Powers, functions, packages and data work.
- Comfortable in Python: board at The Agent Awakens, the agent loop with tools and memory.
- Already built a RAG app: board at Nova Builds a Team, multi-agent systems with LangGraph, then MCP and A2A.
The line has a few parts. The Python Line covers the language. The Agent Line covers agents, RAG and evals. The Network Line covers multi-agent work, voice and MCP. The Production Line covers retrieval quality, guardrails, cost and fine-tuning.
Do I need to know coding to learn AI agents?
No. The course starts with Python from zero, and the early chapters open in the browser without an account.
Is this course free?
Yes, every lesson is completely free, with no card. The later chapters need a free account, and there is a free certification exam at the end.
