Privacy Policy

LogicWiz Private Limited (CIN U62013KA2026PTC222604) (“LogicWiz”, “we”, “us”) operates the LogicWiz Learning platform (logicwiz.ai), LogicWiz Exams (exams.logicwiz.ai), and LogicWiz Interviews (interviews.logicwiz.ai). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

For institutions and companies using Exams or Interviews, LogicWiz acts as a data processor handling candidate and employee data on your behalf; you remain the data controller. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request at support@logicwiz.ai.

• Account data: name, email, organization, role, and authentication data (including any two-factor authentication factors you enrol).
• Exam & interview content: questions, answers, submissions, scorecards, certificates, and analytics generated on the platform.
• Resumes: the resume or CV files you upload and their contents (such as your name, contact details, education, work history and skills), the versions you create with the Resume Optimizer, and the reviews and scores we generate for them.
• AI mock interviews: the text of your answers and the interview transcript, the code you write and run, and the system design or class diagrams you draw. When you answer by voice, your browser turns your speech into text, and we receive and store only that text. Some browsers, such as Chrome, do this by sending your audio to the browser maker’s own speech service; that is covered by your browser’s privacy terms, not ours. We do not upload or store audio or video from practice interviews. If you record yourself in a practice interview, the recording stays on your device.
• Recorded video answers for employers: in an asynchronous video interview set up by a hiring team, the video and audio of each answer you submit are uploaded and stored with your application for that team to review.
• Proctoring & anti-cheat data: where an exam or interview is configured with proctoring, we process webcam video/snapshots, screen and tab-activity signals, ID-document images, room-scan images, and derived signals such as face-presence and suspicion scores. This may include biometric-adjacent data (facial images). It is captured only for sessions your institution or employer explicitly enables, and only for integrity assessment.
• Usage & device data: IP address, browser/device type, and interaction logs used to secure and operate the service.
• Cookies: essential cookies for authentication and session management, plus first-party analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). Analytics cookies are set only if you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell or share this data for advertising.

• To provide the service you or your organization signed up for (running exams, interviews, issuing certificates).
• To generate AI feedback on your interview answers, code, diagrams and resume. This feedback is guidance to help you practise. It is not a hiring decision.
• To assess exam and interview integrity where proctoring is enabled.
• To secure accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain audit logs.
• To communicate about your account and respond to support requests.
• To meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations (e.g. GSTIN-compliant invoicing).

Our lawful bases include performance of a contract, your consent (for proctoring capture, collected before a proctored session begins), and our legitimate interest in operating a secure platform.

• Interview recordings (the video and audio files): deleted 24 hours after the session ends by default. Scorecards, results, scores and written feedback are not recordings and are kept as described in the next bullet.
• Scorecards, results & certificates: retained for up to 2 years to support hiring/credential verification, aligned with DPDP Act 2023 expectations.
• Resume reviews: we keep your 50 most recent resume reviews. Older ones are deleted automatically.
• Audit and consent records: security audit logs and records of consents you gave are kept for up to 7 years. Anti-cheat audit entries are kept for up to 3 years.
• Account & invoicing records: retained as required by applicable tax and accounting law.
• Everything else, including uploaded resumes and practice interview transcripts, is kept while your account is active. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to support@logicwiz.ai from your registered email address.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with sub-processors that help us run the service. Where you enable an integration (e.g. an ATS or calendar), data flows to that system at your direction.

• Supabase: database, authentication and file storage.
• Google (Gemini API): our main AI model. It runs the AI interviewer, scores interview answers, reads and reviews resumes, runs submitted code, and powers the AI tutors.
• Groq and Cerebras: backup AI models, used for the same tasks when Gemini is busy. Requests that carry your personal data, such as resumes and interview answers, go only to providers whose terms do not allow them to train on that data.
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech: turns the AI interviewer’s questions into speech. It receives the interviewer’s words, not yours.
• Cloudflare: website hosting, and relaying audio and video in live interviews when a direct connection is not possible.
• Resend (email) and Twilio (WhatsApp messages): account and interview notifications.
• Razorpay: payments and billing.
• Sentry: error monitoring, with on-screen text masked.
• Google Analytics: website usage measurement, only if you accept analytics cookies.

In the GenAI, System Design and Low-Level Design courses, the lesson tutor answers your questions for free when you are signed in. Your question, the last few messages of that chat and the text of the lesson you are reading are sent to our AI model providers to write the answer. We do not send your name, email or account details. We keep a count of how many questions you have asked each day to apply your plan’s allowance. We may keep an answer to a common question, with no link to you, so we can reuse it for other learners. Some labs, and the lesson tutor once your free questions are used, let you use your own OpenAI or NVIDIA API key instead. When you do, your questions and the lesson text go to that provider under your own account with them. OpenAI calls go straight from your browser. NVIDIA calls pass through our server only to reach NVIDIA, and we do not store your key.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Candidates and employees whose data is processed on behalf of an institution or employer should first contact that organization (the controller); we will support them in fulfilling your request.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Rules, 2021, you can raise a complaint about how we handle your personal data with our Grievance Officer.

Please write from your registered email address and tell us what the complaint is about. We will acknowledge it and respond within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is role-based and audit-logged. Accounts can be protected with two-factor authentication (TOTP). We follow least-privilege access internally and store data with a reputable infrastructure provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data proportionate to its sensitivity.

The “LogicWiz: Practise this job” extension turns a job post you are viewing into a mock interview on LogicWiz Interviews. It works only when you click it.

• When you click the extension, it reads the page in that tab once to find the job title, company and description. It does not read any other tab, and it does nothing in the background.
• It shows you what it found. Nothing leaves your browser until you press Practise; then the job details are handed to LogicWiz Interviews in your browser and used to set up your interview, like a job description you paste yourself.
• Until you open LogicWiz, the job is kept in the browser's session storage, for at most 30 minutes, and is deleted as soon as the page collects it.
• It does not collect your browsing history, read pages you have not clicked it on, use cookies, sell data, or use it for advertising.
• Its permissions: activeTab and scripting (to read the page you clicked it on), storage (to hold the job until LogicWiz opens), and a connection that only LogicWiz sites can use.

LogicWiz targets India data residency for platform data. Where a sub-processor operates outside India, we rely on appropriate safeguards for any cross-border transfer.

The platform is intended for use by institutions, employers, and adult learners/candidates. It is not directed at children under 13. Where an institution enrols minors, it is responsible for obtaining any parental/guardian consent required by law.
